About Chester

I know what it feels like to operate at half capacity.

For two years I had uncontrolled sleep apnea. I was stopping breathing 30 times an hour. I woke up 3 to 5 times a night and it could take me over 30 minutes to fall back asleep each time. I had morning headaches, constant brain fog, and I genuinely felt like I was the dumbest version of myself. I used to sit at my desk, stare at a screen, and 30 minutes would pass with nothing done.

"I knew I had more in the tank. But my sleep was capping everything I tried to do."

The treatment of my sleep apnea helped, but it didn't fix everything. My REM sleep was still as low as 32 minutes. My deep sleep as low as 34 minutes. I was still exhausted, still underperforming. I had to research and build an entirely different approach using sleep science and experience.

When it clicked, everything changed. My REM now averages around 1 hour 30 and deep sleep around 1 hour 45. Now I wake up at 5am, run my coaching business before work, put in a full day as an NHS Sleep Scientist (STP), and still hit the gym with ease.

I have been coaching since 2023. I hold an MSc in Sport and Health Science and am currently completing the NHS Scientist Training Programme in Clinical Science.

FAQ

Common questions

How much time does this take each week?
One 30 to 45 minute 1:1 call per week. Beyond that it is built into your existing routine. You are not adding hours to your day. Most clients report feeling like they have more time within the first few weeks, not less.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients see measurable change in week one. The data on this page is real. Results then compound over 90 days as the system builds on itself. Week one is about quick wins. Month three is about permanent change.
Do I need a wearable device?
No. A wearable helps because it gives us objective data to track progress. If you do not have one, I use a sleep diary system and track sleep efficiency and patterns subjectively. The results are still measurable. We will discuss what works best for you on the audit call.
Will this work if I have already tried everything?
Almost every client has tried melatonin, magnesium, breathwork, and various protocols before arriving here. Those approaches do not work long term because they treat symptoms. This system identifies the root cause specific to your schedule, physiology, and life, then builds a plan around that.
What is the investment?
The audit call is free. Investment for the programme is discussed after the audit, once we have assessed whether you would genuinely benefit from the system. There is no pressure. The audit gives you value regardless of whether you continue.
Is this clinical treatment or NHS affiliated?
No. This coaching is entirely separate from the NHS and is not clinical treatment or diagnosis. If I identify something that requires clinical attention, I will tell you and point you in the right direction.
